Here is today’s public domain superhero - KID TYRANT!

from - http://pdsh.wikia.com/wiki/Kid_Tyrant

Kid Tyrant appeared only once, in a Chameleon story in the back of  Target Comics Vol. 3 No. 1.  He was “Ragsy”, the sidekick of The Chameleon- a rough-n-tumble, Bowery Boys type. Ragsy decides to take on the persona of his favorite kid superhero to solve a case and then shelves his costume – all under the nose of his crimefighting pal. And now, on to my version -

Of course this is a sketch, not a finished drawing, but I think it’s easy to see what I’m going for. The name really screamed “Kirby Character” and so I just bulked him up, gave him solid gauntlets.  I want to take this character farther along one day- make him much more bombastic, more Bronze age in style.

Marker/pencil on A5 paper, digital color.

read one of his stories, cool character, great tweak of the design. You ought to take a shot at the Target and the targateers. I am toying with a figure of him, too.
